Vintage Dogon brass pendant  ~ a wonderful two headed snake coiled around looking like the sun. 6" long. Great age patina.
In some civilizations, the two-headed snake was a symbol of rebirth, while others considered it an example of the duality of life and death, and others believe that a double headed serpent is good luck giving the wearer essentially "2 lives" ~
