WWII GERMAN REPRODUCTION LUFTWAFFE TROPICAL SCARF
These are made from a lightweight tan cotton plain weave shirt fabric and sewn with cotton thread. The dimensions are 21cm wide by 155cm long. The fourth photo shows the scarf on top of an At The Front brand shirt to give you an idea of the color. The shirt is not included in the sale. On some of the scarves, one of the long sides will use the selvedge, others will be hemmed on all four sides. Scarves can often be seen tied around the neck and tucked into an opened collar shirt or tropical blouse (see last three photos). They were also worn wrapped around the face to keep out dust and sand.
Hand or machine wash warm. Hang to dry. Iron on cotton setting
