This is a nice reproduction of an original WWII photograph showing German soldiers engaging some type of targets with their K98 Mauser rifles.  Judging from the happy face of the fellow on the left, I would say nothing too dangerous was going on at the time.
This is a nice photo for a collection of WWII items, highlighting the K98.
