A lovely silver souvenir spoon to commemorate the holiday season. An embossed message "Merry Christmas And Happy New Year" in the bowl of the spoon, with an intricate design around it, running up the handle, and framed around a bear at the top. Smooth underneath, "Sterling Plate" is the only marking on this souvenir spoon. This is likely silver plated (as I have indicated in my item specifics) but I have come to realize that the term "sterling plate" is rarely seen engraved which makes this little gem even more special and unique! What a lovely hostess gift for a holiday or New Year's party, or just perfect for that avid collector!
Great vintage condition. Stored for many years. Cleaned for this listing but areas can still use attention (see photos 6 & 7 for before cleaning). The bottom of the bowl of the spoon shows natural "wear" from years of resting on that spot. Please see all photos.
