This is in good condition with minor signs of wear and tear.
It has been wrapped and kept in a box with other spoons, for the last 50 years,
and I am pretty sure, prior to that it was not used regularly.
I have not polished the spoon
My Grandmother added this to her collection when she first arrived in the USA
from Norway, in the 1890's or very early 1900's.
I don't know the actual year.
She traveled through District of Columbia
,
and this is her memento of her travels
and introduction to her new home country
Decorated on the handle with symbols of America:

Capital Building,
Sunrise
