Pretty worn - it's seen a lot of days on set.SDI Out does NOT work
The connection is severed internally I believe.
I got a quote back from SmallHD, and they said it would be 400 bucks to replace the board, and I just didn't think it was worth it.
SDI In and HDMI In/Out work great.
HDMI is *mostly* reliable still, but the design allows for the hdmi bracket to wiggle in the monitor shell and can cause the video feed to cut in and out if there's a lot of tension on the hdmi cable.
Keep the tension loose, and there shouldn't be any issues.
I primary have been using the sdi in on this, and there have been zero issues with the sdi in so far.
A couple of minor scratches on the actual screen, but the screen protector that is currently mounted to it has taken most of the wear and tear.
The SDI IN port has flayed out pins, but hasn't cause me any issues. (No loose video connection, even though I would expect there to be)
All of the above issues aside, this monitor still works great. Been using it with a Red Scarlet-W for years, and it's a been good to me.
Original owner.
The features of the monitor are spectacular, but alas - I upgraded to a 503 because I needed something that would work outside as well (the 502 isn't very bright).
Selling because I've decided that all my monitors from now on need to be outdoor compatible in terms of nit.
