    Description

    Commemorative John Adams, 2nd US President, appointing John Marshall, Chief Justice of Supreme Court silverplate spoon by Wm Rogers Mfg Co.
    It is nice piece of history honoring the 2nd President of the United States and his appointment of John Marshall as Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court.  The top of the handle pictures bust of President John Adams, printed below is "Second President;" then 1797 - 1801; down handle of the spoon JOHN ADAMS; and, in the spoon bowl are graphics and words "John Marshall appointed Chief Justice."  The back handle is marked Wm Rogers Mfg.
    Co. IS.  The spoon measures approximately 6 inches in length and weighs approximately 26 grams.  No monogram.
    It is in very good vintage condition with some minor wear and tarnish.
