Modern mini quilts for your kitchen are beautiful, functional and built to last!
I used premium cotton fabrics and improvisational piecing to create each unique contemporary potholder.
This set includes solids in shades of blue, tan, sand and gray plus Grunge in Peacoat.
Sandwiched between front and back is a layer of cotton batting plus a layer of Insul-Bright - a thermal insulated batting with a reflective, metallicized poly center that reflects heat or cold back to its source. Minimal stitching lines in tan and navy thread hold all four layers together and give the hot pad a substantial and chunky texture.
Each hot pad measures a generous 9 inches square and can also be used as a trivet under a hot dish.
This set would look great in any contemporary kitchen - a great gift for friend or family, housewarming, hostess gift – or treat yourself!
Care:
Spot clean as needed or machine wash in cold water. Tumble dry, low heat; or air dry flat if you prefer.
The pot holders were machine washed and dried after construction, to shrink them to their final dimensions.
Please note: Insul-Bright is NOT intended for use in the microwave and is heat-resistant, not heat-proof.
