Brought from the village of Ocongate in the mountains near Cusco Peru.
This type of Poncho is used by the Andean Shamans from villages in the mountains of Ocongate - Cusco. It is hand-made with the Awayu method. The designs are Incan geometrical. This poncho is hand-loomed and can take many months to complete. The art geometrical designs are crafted individually, This poncho will fit anyone's median size.
Awayu.- Aguayo or "Awayu" is part of Andean cosmology. The aguayo is a hand-woven fabric with alpaca, llama, or sheep wool, it is dyed with natural vibrant color.
