MicroSculpt 1/48 WW1 Woven Linen Texture Decal

Offer is for a sheet of 1/48 scale MicroSculpt Woven Linen Texture Decal.
These transparent decals were developed to create visual interest to large areas of fabric on WW1 aircraft. But they can be added to any area where you wish to suggest a linen weave— cockpit interiors, tent hanger walls, vehicle tarps, etc. The decal is a medium density pattern so it will appear subtle over darker surfaces and more pronounced over lighter surfaces. They were created from actual scans of fabric.
Being virtually transparent, these decals are best applied on a gloss coated surface to minimize tiny air bubbles trapped underneath. After decal application is complete you may apply your preferred clear coat to protect the decal and achieve the desired final degree of flat/gloss reflectance.
Over very light solid colored surfaces the decal can be applied as an intermediate step. A transparent layer of the base color can be applied over the applied decal to minimize the decal effect.
Finished models images are included to illustrate what can be achieved using these decals. Models are not included in the auction.
While these decals were created for use on 1/48 scale models, they look even better on larger scale kits.
