  • Condition: AS IS CONDITION. THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT IS FAULTY AND NEEDS TO BE FIXED for it to work electronically. On one of the end batteries' empty compartment, the metal conducting positive button part is loose and slightly detached from the main structure. The part appears to be loose and when the plush is shaken- you can hear the loose part. The outer plush itself is in good preowned condition- normal signs of wear being played with including loose stitching/minor undoing of stitching in places. Some of the stitching is loose (flyaways). Some of the stitching to the end of the pants have been partially undone. The waist of the pants appear to be loose around the waist- not sure if this is how the item was meant to be or just how the item was made. When displayed unnoticeable when the shirt is over the pants. The ends of the bows seem a little undone/worn. Not sure if the bows were made to be like this or due to preowned condition.     Tips of hands and feet have beans in them. The hat is stuffed with material like plush for it to poofy the way it is.Both sides of the shirt has buttons that line up with each other. Holes in the pants where the tail conveniently can fit and come out The back of the mustache has a stiff backing almost like a dried superglue to hold it in place and have it shaped- this is how the item was made. Mouth is pink and slightly open. Mustache and eyebrows are thicker plush furry material than the rest of the item.
    The pants and shirt can be removed. The shirt is a little harder to remove and would need to be taken over the head because the buttons cannot be undone- they are sewn into the shirt. The bow/cape/french scarf is sewn to the shirt where the bow is tied in the front. The back of the cape can be lifted to see the back of the shirt underneath.
    The battery compartment is on the bum and is hidden away by a zipper that can be zipped and unzipped.The fabric backing of the unzipped plush to the battery compartment is a meshy fabric material.
    Has original manufacturer tag that says "The Chantilly Lane collection began with Ashley, a bear with a red velvet hat who sings an enchanting melody. "The bear with the red hat" captures hearts around the world.     The inside of the tag says "Making history, one hug at a time" AND a "To: From:" gift tag style if given as a present. There is a taped down (appears to have lost ts original stickiness due to age) warning label on the outside of the battery compartment about battery use. Multiple listed warnings (noteably says "Do not use rechargeable batteries")
    Has on/off switch near battery compartment originally used to turn on/off the signing and animation of item. When the switch is on, the right hand can be squeezed to turn on/off the item.
