The coin is round in shape with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The coins’ edge is grained.

on the left-hand side – the year of issue, in the center – a stylized image of ski ramps of the city of Lahti against the background of a "frosty pattern", made in the style of a geometric national ornament.
Reverse:
