The coin is round in shape with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The coin’s edge is reeded.
Obverse
on the left-hand side — the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus and the inscription in two lines under it: РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS) and the year of issue below; and on the right-hand side — the denomination: 1 РУБЕЛЬ (1 RUBLE) .
Reverse
