The coin is round in shape with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The edge of the coins is reeded.
Obverse
at the top – the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus; in the center of the coin within the circle – the image of a fragment of the non-reversible molded belt produced by the manufactory of Slutsk (1780–1807) and exhibited in the National Museum of History and Culture of Belarus; at the top along the rim an inscription: РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); on the left – the year of issue, on the right – artistic element, on the bottom – denomination: 1 РУБЕЛЬ (1 RUBLE) .
Reverse
on the left along the rim an inscription: СЛУЦКІЯ ПАЯСЫ. КАЛЕКЦЫЯНАВАННЕ (THE BELTS OF SLUTSK. COLLECTING); in the center – the image of the catalog cover of the exhibit of belts of Slutsk in 1927 and a fragment of the belt from the collection of Ivan Lutskevich (the collection from the collected works of Ivan Lutskevich was shown to М. Bogdanovich, after which he wrote the poem "The Weavers of Slutsk").
