The coin is round in shape with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The edge of the coins is reeded.
Obverse
at the top – the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus; in the center of the coin within the circle – an image of a fragment of a two-faced reversible belt produced by the manufactory of Slutsk (1760(1762)–1776) and exhibited in the Minsk Regional Museum of Local Lore (on a silver coin the belt’s fragment is reproduced with the help of pad-printing technique); at the top along the rim an inscription: РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); on the left – the year of issue, on the right artistic element, on the bottom – denomination: 1 РУБЕЛЬ (1 RUBLE).

on the left along the rim an inscription: СЛУЦКІЯ ПАЯСЫ. МЕТКІ (THE BELTS OF SLUTSK. MARKINGS); in the center of the coin – a font composition based on textile markings of belts of Slutsk and a stylized fragment of a map of Slutsk in XVII – beginning XVIII centuries, reflecting the time, place and authorship of their creators, and inscriptions: SLUCK, MEFECIT/SLUCІAЕ., IOANNES.MADZARSKI, ВЬГРДЪ/СЛУЦКЪ//ЛЕО.МА/ЖАРСКІ.
