at the top - a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus; in the center - against the background of the symbol of perpetual motion - a spinning wheel turning into the structure of annual rings on the cuts of a tree - a stylized image of silhouettes of cuckoos and elements of Belarusian folk ornament; below - the year of minting (on the silver - the alloy test); inscriptions around the circle: in the upper part - REPUBLIC OF BELARUS, in the lower part - 20 RUBLES (on silver) and 1 RUBEL (on copper-nickel).
