    Description

One ticket stub for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Aerosmith at the raucous (and now demolished) Philadelphia Spectrum. In the 70s, the band's shows there twice ended abruptly.
During the encore of one show a fan threw an M-80 on stage (equivalent to 1/4 stick of dynamite) which exploded near the hand of guitarist Joe Perry who was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery. At a later show, a bottle thrown from the audience shattered in the face of singer Steven Tyler. The band walked offstage and vowed to never play the city again. Years later, Aerosmith resumed playing in the City of Brotherly Love. At this 1993 show they featured songs from their new album Get A Grip. One hit wonder 4 Non Blondes opened the show. There is a vertical crease on the right side of the ticket. Thanks for reading & looking. Free shipping.
