ACHILLE BLOCH PARIS FRANCE ANTIQUE ASIAN THEMED CIRCA 1885 10" FIGURINE - AS IS

Up for auction is this extremely rare antique (circa 1885) Achille Bloch Paris, France Asian themed figurine.  It features an Chinese man, in traditional antique Chinese dress, working on some sort of devise.  Measuring about 10 1/8 inches tall, the piece is fully marked on the bottom , in blue, with the Bloch Meissen style crossed sword "A-B" mark.  This dates the piece to the mid 1880's.  The piece does have issues so it is being sold "AS IS"!!  I will try to list as many flaws as possible.  First, there are some glued repairs, including but not limited to his hat, thumb, the one arm (and its hand) and head.  The base has been reglued.  There are fairly minor chips in the flowers.  One finger is chipped.  One of his feet is missing.  Still, the piece is quite spectacular with bright, colorful and clear paint and highly detailed design.  I have price the piece to reflect the wear.  A rare item offered with NO RESERVE!!
