    Description

    2 nice and heavy souvenir spoons depicting Wilhelm II and Cardinal Mercier of Belgium, WW1 era in silverplate.  Each spoon is about 6 inches long.  They are beautifully articulated front and back and in excellent used condition. There is some rubbing and a soft aged patina but little loss of plate. They need a good polishing.
    Cardinal Mercier was known as a scholar and for his resistance to the German occupation of  Belgium 1914-18.
