Description
This is a vintage souvenir spoon from the Spanish American War, with Admiral Dewey embossed on the handle. It is 4 1/4" long. The U.S. Flagship Olympia is embossed in the bowl of the spoon. The spoon commemorates the Battle of Manila Bay on May 1, 1898, when the American fleet took victory over the Spanish. The spoon is silver plated and made by the National Silver Plate Co.
